The tube rack features retainer fingers that securely hold tubes in place, ensuring they remain stable during both decanting and water bath procedures. It allows for simultaneous decanting, thereby optimizing time efficiency, and is constructed from specially formulated plastic that permits submersion in water baths. The fingers are designed to keep tubes secure during water bath usage, minimizing the risk of dilution or spillage. Additionally, the rack includes end plates for labeling, as well as numbered and lettered rows for easy tube identification. The fold-up sides lock securely into the grip decks, making assembly quick and convenient. Unloaded racks are stackable, and the indicated tube size is tailored for optimal grip function, although smaller tubes may also fit for storage. The rack is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
