The ProLube 46020 is a pack of five 1/4" -18 pipe threads (extra special short) grease fittings, designed with precision to meet stringent quality standards, including TS16949 approved manufacturing. The fitting profile and dimensions are meticulously controlled to conform to SAE, DIN, BS, JIS, and IS standards. Each grease fitting is heat treated to the SAE J534 specification, ensuring a minimum hardness of 83 on the Rockwell 15N scale, with a case depth ranging from 0.005" (0.13 mm) to 0.009" (0.23 mm). Made from steel, these fittings are plated in yellow zinc with a plating thickness of 0.0002" (5 microns), also complying with SAE J534 specifications and demonstrating a guaranteed salt spray life of over 72 hours to red rust.
