The Groz 45555 115V AC high flow heavy duty electric oil drum transfer pump is specifically designed for transferring bulk oils, hydraulic oils, antifreeze, or antifreeze mixes. It features a non-corroding aluminum die cast pump body and offers a high horsepower to flow ratio that ensures adequate power for pumping viscous fluids even at low temperatures. The pump is equipped with sintered powder metal gears and utilizes a self-priming, positive displacement design. It includes an internal bypass valve that activates to bypass flow when the discharge pressure exceeds the bypass valve setting. A built-in 2" bung adaptor allows for direct mounting onto drums and tanks, and it can also be employed to transfer used oil; fitting a screen onto the suction tube enhances its effectiveness for this purpose.
