The Prolube 46220 features M8 x 1.0mm metric grease fittings in a straight design, available in a 10 pack. These grease fittings are manufactured to stringent quality standards, with TS16949 approved manufacturing processes. The fitting profile and dimensions are accurately controlled, conforming to SAE, DIN, BS, JIS, and IS standards. Each grease fitting is heat treated to SAE J534 specification, achieving a minimum hardness of 83 on the Rockwell 15N scale, with a case depth ranging from 0.005 inches (0.13 mm) to 0.009 inches (0.23 mm). The steel fittings are plated in yellow zinc, with a plating thickness of 0.0002 inches (5 microns), complying with SAE J534 specification, and they boast a guaranteed salt spray life of over 72 hours to red rust.
