The CM Hurricane 360° Hand Chain Hoist has a lifting capacity of 1/2 ton and a 15 ft. lift. It features an Army-type integrated trolley that provides ultra-low headroom and is available with a geared trolley (plain version also available). The hoist is designed for extremely easy installation and includes a standard load limiter for simple, automatic overload protection. Its braking power is enhanced by a Weston-style braking system, which delivers reliable positive load control. The powder-coated finish offers corrosion protection, while the heat-treated steel gearing ensures high strength and long life with all internal gears and pinions being made from heat-treated steel. Additional features include a chain guide and stripper for assured load chain alignment, a precision 4-pocket liftwheel that is fully machined for improved chain fit and reduced wear, and a hardened steel alloy load chain that guarantees high strength and durability. The hoist is designed for minimal maintenance, as it can be easily disassembled without requiring special tools. It meets ASME B30.16 and European CE standards, and it comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Available options include chain containers and Latchlok hooks.
