The CM Hurricane 360° hand chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a lift height of 20 ft. It features an army-type, integrated trolley that provides ultra-low headroom, with a plain trolley available (geared options also offered). Installation is extremely easy, and it includes a standard load limiter for simple, automatic overload protection. The hoist is equipped with a Weston-style braking system that ensures reliable positive load control. Its powder-coated finish provides corrosion protection, while the heat-treated steel gearing ensures high strength and long life. The internal gears and pinions are made of heat-treated steel, and the chain guide and stripper assure load chain alignment. The precision 4-pocket lift wheel is fully machined to ensure better chain fit and reduced wear, allowing for accurate movement of the load chain. The hardened alloy steel load chain guarantees high strength and long wear life, and the hoist requires minimal maintenance, as it can be easily disassembled without the need for special tools. It meets ASME B30.16 and European CE standards and comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Available options include chain containers and Latchlok hooks.
