The CM Hurricane 360° hand chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 1/2 ton and a lift height of 20 ft. This hoist features an army-type, integrated trolley that provides ultra-low headroom and is extremely easy to install. It comes with a plain trolley, with geared options available. The standard load limiter ensures simple, automatic overload protection, while the Weston-style braking system provides reliable positive load control. The hoist is finished with a powder coating for corrosion protection and features heat-treated steel gearing for high strength and long life. The chain guide and stripper assure load chain alignment, and the precision 4-pocket liftwheel is fully machined for better chain fit and reduced wear, allowing for accurate movement of the load chain. The hardened steel chain, made from alloy steel, ensures high strength and long wear life. Minimal maintenance is required, as the hoist is easily disassembled without the need for special tools. It meets ASME B30.16 and European CE standards, and comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Available options include chain containers and Latchlok hooks.
