The CM Hurricane 360° hand chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a lift height of 10 ft. This hoist features an army-type, integrated trolley that provides ultra-low headroom and is extremely easy to install, with a plain trolley option available (geared trolley also offered). It includes a standard load limiter for simple, automatic overload protection and a Weston-style braking system that ensures reliable positive load control. The hoist is finished with a powder coating for corrosion protection, and all internal gears and pinions are made from heat-treated steel for high strength and longevity. It incorporates a chain guide and stripper for load chain alignment, and a precision 4-pocket liftwheel that is fully machined to improve chain fit and reduce wear, facilitating accurate movement of the load chain. The hardened steel alloy load chain ensures high strength and extended wear life. The hoist requires minimal maintenance, as it can be easily disassembled without the need for special tools. It complies with ASME B30.16 and European CE standards, and comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Available options include chain containers and Latchlok hooks.
