The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, suitable for light to medium-duty industrial applications. This series includes capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts available. Key features include an innovative brake wear indicator that visually indicates when friction disks require replacement, and a two-step, no load, free chaining system for quick hoist positioning without free chaining under load. The Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load security by distributing the load on opposite sides of the ratchet gear. Industrial rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging and feature a slow stretch to signal overload situations. The lever hoist also boasts a redesigned ergonomic grip for improved operator control and comfort, cast-steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts for durability, a grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, and needle bearings that support the load sheave for efficiency and smooth operation. It is constructed from impact-resistant all steel materials and complies with ANSI/ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards.
