The kit includes a patented brake wear indicator for enhanced safety, indicating when friction disks need replacement, and offers an option for shipyard hooks to prevent stretching caused by point or tip loading. Available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons, the hoists feature standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts available. Key attributes include a Weston style double pawl brake design that enhances load security by distributing the load across opposing sides of the ratchet gear, industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging, and hooks that slowly stretch to signal an overload situation, promoting jobsite safety. The cast steel safety latches are secured with Allen screws and lock nuts for added security, and the hoists are grade 80 black oxide coated for increased durability.
