Cast-iron, helical bevel speed reducers are available in box sizes 37-97 to support 1/4 HP to 30 HP NEMA frame motors in speed ratios from 5:1 to 120:1. The units feature NEMA motor quill style input flanges and standard hollow output bores, are pre-filled with mineral oil, and come with a 2-year warranty. Key features include ball bearings on the input and output shafts, as well as precision ground gears for improved rotation and quieter operation. The KAN style is standard with B14 mounting, and options such as torque arm mounts and B5 flange mounts are available as separate accessories. Additionally, both single shaft and double shaft output kits can be obtained.
