The AccuCold ARS8PV Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright vaccine refrigerator is a solid door model with a capacity of 8 cu.ft., specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications in compliance with CDC/VFC guidelines. This refrigerator features an adjustable control range from +2 to +8°C and utilizes an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to minimize door openings and protect contents from ambient temperature changes. It includes a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle for enhanced temperature simulation, along with an additional sensor for air temperature monitoring, providing superior temperature control. The display shows current and min/max temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, while audible and visual alarms alert users to any out-of-range conditions, including power failure, door open, and sensor failure. The unit is equipped with remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for additional monitoring devices. Inside, the refrigerator employs adjustable cycle defrost operation to prevent temperature spikes, along with optimized forced air cooling facilitated by two internal fans, ensuring excellent temperature stability and rapid recovery after door openings. It features seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, positioned at 1/2" increments, providing ample storage options, complemented by LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch. The interior is constructed from white powder-coated metal for added durability and better temperature retention. The ARS8PV is finished in white with a blue accented control panel and an easy-grip handle, and it includes a user-reversible door.
