The AccuCold ARS15PV Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright vaccine refrigerator features a solid door design and offers a capacity of 15 cu.ft. Specifically engineered for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, this model is compliant with CDC/VFC guidelines. It has an adjustable control range from +2 to +8°C, with a microprocessor temperature controller located externally to minimize door openings, safeguarding the stored contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, accurately simulates the temperature of the stored product, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor for enhanced control. The unit's current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, with an accuracy of one-tenth of a degree. An audible and visual alarm system alerts the user if the interior temperature exceeds the set range, and additional alarms include power failure, door open, and sensor failure alerts. For monitoring purposes, remote alarm contacts are provided at the rear, as well as a 1/2" probe port on the right side. The ARS15PV employs adjustable cycle defrost operation to prevent temperature spikes, while optimized forced air cooling from a single internal fan ensures superior temperature stability and uniformity with prompt recovery after door access. The unit comes with seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, positioned at 1/2" increments to maximize storage flexibility. It is equipped with energy-efficient LED internal lighting, operable via an on/off rocker switch. The interior is made from durable white powder-coated metal for enhanced durability and improved temperature retention.
