The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specially configured for North American fast charging systems and includes AWG/MM contacts and tooling. It features up to 4 auxiliary contacts that can be used for battery monitoring and charging, designed with low mating forces to allow connectors to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. The hexagonal voltage key accommodates voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and comply with the DIN-Norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
