The kit includes filters molded in polypropylene housings, ensuring a reliable seal without the use of adhesives. It features a female Luer-lock inlet and a male Luer slip outlet, with color coding by membrane type for easy identification. The filters come in convenient bulk packaging and utilize PES (polyethersulfone), which is the most popular membrane type due to its low affinity for proteins and extractables, as well as a faster flow rate compared to PVDF. They are designed for pre-filtration and filtration of buffers and culture media.
