The 500ml filters include an expanded 90mm diameter membrane that increases flow and reduces clogs for faster filtration, providing 44% more filtration area than the previous design. Each filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the bottle top, along with bold printed membrane and pore size for simple identification. The angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameters while preventing the filter from tipping, and the improved filter support ensures faster flow rates. The curved bottle design facilitates easy handling, and every bottle top includes a printed lot number and expiration date. Using a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, the filters offer high flow with low binding, making the 0.22µm PES membrane ideal for sterile filtration of cell culture media. The bottle top filters are designed to fit on CELLTREAT® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, although solution bottles are not included in the package.
