Made from premium cobalt high-speed steel, the drill bits feature a 135° split point that is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes under .0625 do not have a split point. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating enhances lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and overall drill life. This kit is specifically suited for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel.
