Manufactured from premium high-speed steel, the shorter flutes and overall length provide superior rigidity to minimize deflection when using heavy feed rates, making it ideal for portable drilling. The drill bits come with a bright finish for sizes up to 1/2" and a black oxide finish for sizes over 1/2". This kit is suitable for drilling in alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials.
