The kit features heavy-duty geometry designed for drilling tougher materials by hand or machine, with shorter flutes and an overall length that provide superior rigidity to minimize deflection when using heavy feed rates. It is manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel and includes a 135° split point that is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration; sizes under .0625 do not have a split point. The straw oxide finish increases lubricity, reduces galling and welding, and allows for easy identification of cobalt. This kit is suitable for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel. The pack contains 12 pieces and is made in the USA. It comes with a 30-day warranty.
