The heavy-duty geometry of this drill set is designed for drilling tougher materials by hand or machine, featuring shorter flutes and an overall length that provides superior rigidity to minimize deflection when using heavy feed rates. Manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel, the drills have a 135° split point that is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration; please note that sizes under .0625 do not have a split point. The straw oxide finish enhances lubricity while reducing galling and welding, allowing for easy identification of cobalt. This drill set is suitable for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel. The product is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, accompanied by a 30-day warranty.
