The heavy-duty geometry of this drill bit kit is designed for drilling tougher materials by hand or machine, featuring shorter flutes and an overall length that provides superior rigidity to minimize deflection during heavy feed rates. Manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel, the bits come with a 135° split point that is self-centering, resulting in reduced thrust and easier penetration; please note that sizes under .0625 do not include a split point. Each bit is coated with TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride), which enhances performance in high-temperature conditions and increases drill life due to its added hardness. This kit is suitable for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel. The pack includes 6 drill bits and is made in the USA, backed by a 30-day warranty.
