It is manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel and includes 135° split points that are self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes under .0625 do not have splits. The drills are coated with TiN (Titanium Nitride), which adds lubricity and hardness, enhancing chip flow, finish hole quality, and drill life. This set is suitable for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel. The package includes a total of 12 pieces and is made in the USA.
