The kit features heavy-duty construction designed for drilling in tougher materials, manufactured from high-speed steel. It includes a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, resulting in reduced thrust and easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not incorporate a split point. The shanks on sizes 3/16" and larger exhibit three flats for tighter chucking. A black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. Made in the USA, it comes in a pack of 6 and is backed by a 30-day warranty.
