The kit features heavy-duty construction designed for drilling in tougher materials, and it is manufactured from premium high-speed steel. Each drill bit has a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and facilitates easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The black oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity to improve chip flow, making these bits suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The kit is made in the USA and includes a pack of 6 drill bits, accompanied by a 30-day warranty.
