The general purpose geometry of this drill kit is designed for drilling in a wide range of operating conditions and materials, featuring a 118° radial point. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel, the drill bits have shorter flutes and an overall length that provides superior rigidity to minimize deflection when using heavy feed rates. This extra rigidity makes the bits particularly suitable for portable drilling applications. The drill bits come with a bright finish for sizes up to 1/2" and a black oxide finish for sizes over 1/2". They are effective for drilling in alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. The product is made in the USA and is backed by a 30-day warranty.
