It features a 118° radial point and is manufactured from premium high-speed steel. The shorter flutes and overall length provide superior rigidity to minimize deflection, particularly when using heavy feed rates, making it ideal for portable drilling applications. The kit includes a bright finish for sizes up to 1/2" and a black oxide finish for sizes over 1/2". It is suitable for drilling in alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials.
