The general purpose geometry of this drill bit kit is designed for drilling in a wide range of operating conditions and materials, featuring a 118° radial point. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel, the kit includes shorter flutes and an overall length that provide superior rigidity to minimize deflection when using heavy feed rates, making the extra rigidity ideal for portable drilling. The drill bits come with a bright finish for sizes up to 1/2" and a black oxide finish for sizes over 1/2". These bits are suitable for drilling in alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. The kit includes a pack of 12 bits and is made in the USA, with a 30-day warranty.
