The heavy-duty geometry of this drill bit kit is designed for drilling tougher materials by hand or machine, featuring shorter flutes and an overall length that enhances rigidity to minimize deflection during heavy feed rates. The bits are manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel and have a 135° split point that is self-centering, resulting in reduced thrust and easier penetration; please note that sizes under .0625 do not feature a split point. The straw oxide finish provides increased lubricity to reduce galling and welding, as well as facilitating easy identification of cobalt. This kit is suitable for drilling in alloy and carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and tool steel. It is proudly made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
