Disposable non-sterile nylon/polyamide filtration media syringe filters are designed with Luer-Lok™ and pressure fittings, ensuring secure connections. These filters are ultrasonically bonded for enhanced reliability, and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrel for easy identification. They offer excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel design increases volume while reducing back pressure. Made from hydrophilic material, they are recommended for the filtration of aqueous or organic/aqueous medium polar liquids. Common applications include general laboratory filtration and the filtration of HPLC and GC samples prior to injection. These filters are suitable for use with high pH samples, although they are not appropriate for protein recovery applications, as they bind proteins.
