Disposable non-sterile PTFE hydrophilic filtration media syringe filters are designed for optimal performance and reliability, featuring Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting. Constructed with ultrasonic bonding, these filters ensure unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency, with the filter media type clearly inscribed on the barrel. The unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel maximizes volume while minimizing back pressure, allowing for effective utilization of small sample volumes. They are particularly suited for the filtration of nonpolar liquids and gases and demonstrate high resistance to solvents, acids, and bases. With excellent chemical compatibility, these filters are ideal for filtering harsh chemicals that can damage other membrane materials. They are particularly useful for filtering and de-gassing chromatography solvents and filtering viscous organic-based HPLC samples, as well as for aerosol sampling.
