Disposable non-sterile PVDF hydrophobic filtration media syringe filters are designed with Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting for secure connections. This membrane offers stability and hydrophobic interactions comparable to PTFE, making it particularly suitable for the filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, such as protein solutions. Additionally, these filters can effectively handle the filtration of hydrophobic substances in various organic solvents. The filters feature a unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel that increases volume while decreasing back pressure. They are ultrasonically bonded for enhanced reliability, and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrel, ensuring easy identification. These syringe filters provide excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency.
