Disposable non-sterile PVDF hydrophobic filtration media syringe filters are equipped with Luer-Lok™ and pressure fittings. This membrane offers stability and hydrophobic interactions akin to PTFE, making it particularly suitable for the filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, such as protein solutions. In addition, these filters can effectively handle the filtration of hydrophobic substances in various organic solvents. The design includes a unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel that enhances volume while reducing back pressure. These filters are ultrasonically bonded to ensure reliability, and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrel. They provide excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency.
