Disposable non-sterile nylon/polyamide filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting, designed to enhance performance in laboratory settings. The kit includes a glass microfiber prefilter, which increases absorption capacity and loading, making these filters ideal for the filtration of aqueous and organic/aqueous polar liquids, as well as for dissolution sample analysis. They are commonly utilized for general laboratory filtration, particularly for HPLC and GC samples prior to injection, and are suitable for use with high pH samples. However, since these filters bind proteins, they are not recommended for protein recovery applications. The filters are ultrasonically bonded for reliability, with the filter media type clearly inscribed on the barrel, ensuring excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. Additionally, the unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel design enhances volume capacity while decreasing back pressure, optimizing filtration efficiency.
