Grade quartz A high temperature is a fine porosity binderless quartz (SiO2) glass microfiber that offers a 99.999% efficiency in air filtration for the retention of 2.20um particles, with an effective temperature range of up to 1150 °C. This media meets or exceeds the physical, performance, and elemental requirements for EPA PM10 and ambient air monitoring methods. The flow rate is between 1.1 and 1.35 m3/min, with a resistance of 95mmH20 at 10.5 ft/min. It exhibits a loss on ignition of less than 2% and a tensile strength of 285g/15mm (ASTM D828), with MD tensile measuring 11.3 lbs/in (TAPPI T494). This media is primarily used in air pollution monitoring, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and flame emission spectrometry, making it suitable for applications requiring extremely critical analysis. It is ideal for use in acidic gases (except hydrofluoric) and aerosols, as well as for stacks and flue gas monitoring.
