The nut splitter kit is designed for splitting tight or over-twisted nuts without damaging the bolt thread of quality grades 6. It features a band that provides additional support when turning the chisel back and includes a very sharp cutting edge with a hardened chisel cutting edge. The chisel can be ordered as a replacement part through a time-saving numbering system. Users are advised to gently turn the chisel in the opposite direction by pulling back, as the splitting chisels are considered wearing parts. Blunt, pitted, or broken chisels must be replaced immediately, and it is important to note that no electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills should be used. Safety measures include the requirement of a protective blanket and protective goggles during operation. The kit accommodates nut sizes ranging from 10 to 18mm (metric) and M6 to M12 (metric), with a hexagon drive (male) size of 17mm (metric), a cutting width of 12mm (metric), and a length without spindle of 80mm (metric).
