The double-edged nut splitters are designed to exert twice the normal splitting force on irretrievable nuts in quality classes 5, 6, and 8, performing a one-operation double cutting action without damaging the threaded bolt. The kit includes two hardened chisel cutting edges, and the nut splitters come with a chisel that is available as a replacement part, facilitating a time-saving order process through a numbering system. The chisel features a cutting width of 14mm (metric) and is suitable for 5/8" nut sizes, with a length of 109mm (metric) without the spindle. The protective blanket and goggles are required for safe operation, and the hexagon drive (male) is specified at 17mm. It is important to note that the splitting chisels are categorized as wearing parts, necessitating immediate replacement of any blunt, pitted, or broken chisels. The use of any electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills is prohibited to ensure safe and effective operation.
