The kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and similar components. It features a manual adjustment knurl for rapid loosening and adjusting of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without the need for a wrench, and it can be installed on various pulling hooks with variable reach, thanks to jaw extensions. The turning of the pulling hooks allows them to be utilized both internally and externally, making it suitable for pulling asymmetric workpieces. The spindle head band prevents slipping of the wrench, and the cross-beam's hexagonal profile ensures a good grip. The kit includes almost all components as available replacement parts, with a convenient numbering system for a time-saving order process. It is equipped with a hydraulic spindle from Series 8-0 for particularly tight parts, available from a specific puller size, and an auxiliary hydraulic ram from Series 9 for similar applications. Note that pressure pads from Series 600-17 are recommended for hollow shafts where the spindle cannot be supported. The kit also offers stability support from an optional Series 219 clamp. The standard pulling hook features quick adjusting capability (Quick Adjust) with parallel pulling hooks that can be positioned in any orientation, even under full load. Additionally, it includes pulling hooks with infinitely variable adjustments on the cross-beam, ensuring optimal spindle adjustment to the shaft with a two-sided spindle tip (ball and tip) and a mechanical pressure screw. The milled thread is treated with a special coating, and the two-arm design allows for space-saving operation. It is critical that the sliding parts of the pulling hooks sit stably and fully on the cross-beam, and when removing multiple parts, a step-by-step process must be followed to avoid simultaneous removal. The pulling hooks’ support surfaces should always be straight and positioned fully beneath the part to be removed. The use of electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills is prohibited. Compliance with safety requires the use of a protective blanket and goggles.
