The kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and similar components, featuring a manual adjustment knurl that enables rapid loosening and adjustment of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without the need for a wrench. It can be installed on various pulling hooks with variable reach made possible through jaw extensions, and turning the pulling hooks allows for both internal and external use, making it suitable for pulling asymmetric workpieces. The spindle head band prevents slipping, while the cross-beam has a hexagonal profile for enhanced grip. Most components are available as replacement parts, and the order process is streamlined thanks to a numbering system. The hydraulic spindle series 8-0 is available for particularly tight parts, as well as auxiliary hydraulic ram series 9, both applicable from a specific puller size. Additionally, pressure pads from series 600-17 can be beneficial for hollow shafts where the spindle cannot be adequately supported. The system includes a standard pulling hook with quick adjusting capability, parallel pulling hooks adjustable in every position, an infinitely variable adjustment feature on the cross-beam, and optimal spindle adjustment to the shaft with a two-sided spindle tip (ball and tip). A mechanical pressure screw, milled thread treated with a special coating, and a two-arm design allow for space-saving operation. It is imperative that pulling hooks maintain stable and full contact with the cross-beam, and a step-by-step removal process is advised when dealing with multiple parts. The pulling hooks support surfaces must always be straight and properly positioned beneath the parts to be removed. Safety precautions include the required use of a protective blanket and goggles.
