Product Details
The kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and similar components, featuring a manual adjustment knurl for rapid loosening and adjustment of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without the need for a wrench. It can be installed on various pulling hooks and offers variable reach through jaw extensions, with the ability to turn pulling hooks for both internal and external use, making it suitable for asymmetric workpieces. The spindle head band prevents slippage, and the cross-beam is constructed with a hexagonal profile for a good grip. Almost all components are available as replacement parts, and a time-saving order process is facilitated by a numbering system. The hydraulic spindle (Series 8-0) is intended for particularly tight parts and is available from a specific puller size, while the Auxiliary Hydraulic Ram (Series 9) is also designed for tight parts. The pressure pads from Series 600-17 can be a valuable addition for hollow shafts where spindle support is not possible. Optional stability support is provided by the Series 219 clamp. Key features include a standard pulling hook with quick adjusting capability, parallel pulling hooks that maintain position under full load, and pulling hooks that allow for infinitely variable adjustment on the cross-beam. The spindle is optimally adjusted to the shaft with a two-sided spindle tip (ball and tip), alongside a mechanical pressure screw and a milled thread treated with a special coating. Its two-arm design allows for space-saving operation. It is crucial that the sliding parts of the pulling hooks sit stably and fully on the cross-beam, and a step-by-step process must be followed when removing multiple parts. The pulling hooks' support surfaces must be straight and fully beneath the part being removed, and it is advised against using electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills. Safety precautions include the use of a protective blanket and protective goggles.
