Product Details
This kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and other components in tight or difficult-to-access spaces, featuring thin pulling hooks that are suitable for narrow locations. It includes a manual adjustment knurl that allows for rapid loosening and adjusting of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without needing a wrench, and can be installed on various pulling hooks with variable reach thanks to jaw extensions. The design allows the pulling hooks to be utilized both internally and externally, making it versatile for asymmetric workpieces. It features a spindle head band that prevents the wrench from slipping off and a cross-beam with a hexagonal profile for good grip. Most components are available as replacement parts, and a time-saving order process is facilitated by a numbering system. The kit includes options for pressure pads from series 600-17 for hollow shafts, as well as a stability support from optional series 219 clamp. The pulling hooks allow for parallel pulling in any position, even under full load, and offer infinitely variable adjustment on the cross-beam. Key features include optimal spindle adjustment to the shaft with a 2-sided spindle tip (ball and tip), a mechanical pressure screw, a milled thread treated with a special coating, and a two-arm design for space-saving operation. The pulling hooks' sliding parts are required to sit stably and fully on the cross-beam, and a step-by-step removal process is recommended when removing multiple parts. The pulling hooks' support surfaces must be straight and sit fully beneath the component to be removed. Additionally, the use of electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills is discouraged, and protective equipment, including a protective blanket and goggles, is required. This kit supports a maximum load of 2.5 metric tons, has a hexagon drive (male) of 17 mm, and operates with a space requirement below 1/8" for maximum torque.
