The nut splitter is designed for splitting tight or over-twisted nuts without damaging the bolt thread of quality grades 6. It features a band that provides additional support when turning the chisel back, and the chisel is available as a replacement part. The tool includes a very sharp cutting edge with a facet cut and a hardened chisel cutting edge for effective splitting. Users can gently turn the chisel in the opposite direction by pulling back, but it is essential to replace blunt, pitted, or broken chisels immediately, as they are considered wearing parts. The tool must not be used with electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills, and the use of a protective blanket and protective goggles is required during operation. The nut splitter accommodates metric nut sizes ranging from M22 to M33 and M32 to M50, with a cutting width of 26mm and a length without spindle of 203mm. It also features a hexagon drive (male) measuring 32mm.
