The kit is designed for splitting particularly large, tight, or over-twisted nuts without damaging the bolt thread of quality grades 5, 6, 8, and 10. It utilizes hydraulic technology, requiring minimal force for operation. The package includes a hardened chisel cutting edge, which is available as a replacement part, and features a time-saving order process thanks to a numbering system. The chisel is very sharp with a facet cut for efficient cutting. It is crucial to adhere to the torque specifications, as exceeding them can lead to tool damage. Users must avoid the use of electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers and hammer drills. Note that the splitting chisels are classified as wearing parts; thus, any blunt, pitted, or broken chisels must be replaced immediately. The kit requires the use of a protective blanket and protective goggles during operation. It accommodates nut sizes ranging from metric M4 to M14 and 7 to 24mm, with a maximum torque of 60Nm. The length without the spindle is 167mm, and the cutting width of the chisel is 18mm.
