The kit is designed for splitting particularly large, tight, or over-twisted nuts without damaging the bolt thread of quality grades 5, 6, 8, and 10, utilizing hydraulic mechanics that require minimal force. It includes a hardened chisel cutting edge with a very sharp cutting through facet cut and a chisel available as a replacement part, supported by a time-saving order process thanks to its numbering system. Users must adhere to torque specifications, as exceeding a maximum torque of 70Nm can lead to tool damage. The chisel has a cutting width of 30mm and is compatible with nut sizes ranging from 22mm to 36mm, including metric sizes M14 to M24. The tool's length without spindle is 249mm. Important safety precautions include the mandatory use of protective goggles and a protective blanket, as the splitting chisels are considered wearing parts and must be replaced if they are blunt, pitted, or broken. Care must be taken to avoid the use of electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills, as they are not suitable for this tool.
