This kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and similar components, featuring a manual adjustment knurl for rapid loosening and adjusting of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without the need for a wrench. It is compatible with various pulling hooks and offers variable reach due to jaw extensions, enabling use for both internal and external pulling tasks, particularly suitable for asymmetric workpieces. The included hydraulic spindle series 8-0 is designed for particularly tight parts and is available from a specific puller size, while the auxiliary hydraulic ram series 9 can also be employed for tight parts from a certain puller size. Additional pressure pads from series 600-17 are recommended for use with hollow shafts where the spindle cannot be supported. Key features include a standard pulling hook with quick adjusting capability, parallel pulling hooks that maintain position under full load, and infinitely variable adjustment on the cross-beam. The spindle is optimally adjusted to the shaft using a two-sided spindle tip (ball and tip), and the three-arm design ensures even load distribution while securely holding the part to be removed. Components are engineered for stability, and safety precautions include requiring protective gear such as goggles and a protective blanket, with specific guidelines against using electrical or pneumatic tools during operation. The kit's design includes a space for a 3/8" hexagon drive (male).
