The kit is designed for removing bearings, gears, discs, and other components from tight or difficult-to-access spaces. It includes thin pulling hooks suitable for narrow locations and features a manual adjustment knurl, allowing for rapid loosening and adjustment of the extractor jaws on the cross-beam without the need for a wrench. The kit can be installed on various pulling hooks and offers variable reach through jaw extensions. Turning the pulling hooks enables both internal and external use, making it suitable for pulling asymmetric workpieces. A spindle head band prevents the wrench from slipping off, and almost all components are available as replacement parts with a time-saving order process facilitated by a numbering system. Note that pressure pads from Series 600-17 are recommended if the shaft is hollow and cannot be supported. The thin pulling hook features quick adjusting capability, while parallel pulling hooks can be employed in any position, even under full load. The pulling hooks allow for infinitely variable adjustment on the cross-beam, and optimal spindle adjustment is ensured with a 2-sided spindle tip (ball and tip). A mechanical pressure screw is included, with a milled thread treated with a special coating. The three-arm design ensures even load distribution and secure holding of parts during removal. For scenarios with limited free space around the part, a 2-jaw puller from Series 20+S is recommended for optimal force distribution. It is crucial that the pulling hooks' sliding parts sit stably and fully on the cross-beam, and when removing multiple parts, a step-by-step process should be followed to avoid simultaneous removals. The support surfaces of the pulling hooks must always be straight and fully beneath the part being removed. Electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills are not permitted for use with this kit, and protective blankets and goggles are required during operation.
