The mechanical nut splitter set is designed for efficiently splitting tight or over-twisted nuts without damaging the bolt thread of quality grade 6 materials. It features a very sharp cutting edge through a facet cut and a hardened chisel cutting edge for durability. The kit includes a 97-1 thread file for reworking and cleaning damaged internal and external threads, and the nut splitter's band provides additional support when turning the chisel back. The chisel is also available as a replacement part, facilitating a time-saving order process through a convenient numbering system.
