Product Details
The kit is designed for the removal of grooved ball bearings without causing damage and without dismantling the shaft. Included in the package is a self-tensioning puller that is easy to handle, featuring a simple, self-explanatory design with minimal individual components. The kit allows for the straightforward mounting of the pulling jaws, which can rotate 90 degrees in the cross-beam, providing a secure, form-fitting connection. Only two types of pulling jaws are needed, and the machined lateral jaw surfaces ensure optimal alignment with the cross-beam. The inclusion of magnets under the cross-beam facilitates easy mounting of support rings on the ball bearing, while the spindle head band prevents slippage during use. For non-contact removal, the puller can be combined with a slide hammer. This puller effectively enables the quick and easy removal of grooved ball bearings positioned on both a shaft and within a casing. The pulling jaws are specially developed for precise mounting within bearing tracks, featuring a two-part design with a dowel pin hammered into the upper end for enhanced support and extension force. The two jaw versions are color-coded for easy identification, and the jaws are tempered to ensure a prolonged service life. The unique cross-beam design incorporates a spread adjuster for secure retention of the part to be removed. The mechanical pressure spindle features a rounded spindle head for compatibility with the slide hammer, and the milled thread is treated with a special coating. Additionally, the kit includes instructions and a conversion table housed in the cover, as well as secure storage in special foam. The puller has a hexagon drive (male) measuring 17mm, accommodates an inner diameter of ball bearings ranging from 17 to 100mm, supports ring diameters between 38 and 77.5mm, and features a K-70 jaw length of 6 3/16".
