This kit is designed for extracting ball pins during the dismantling of ball joints and track-rod ends on track rods. It includes a comprehensive range of replacement parts, facilitated by a convenient numbering system for quick ordering. The tools feature a bell-shaped design that applies direct pressure on the ball pin, making it ideal for situations where adequate space is available, ensuring damage-free operation. Crafted from sturdy, alloyed, hardened, and tempered steel, the components are galvanized for durability. The milled thread is treated with a special coating, and a torque wrench is recommended for drive use. Electrical or pneumatic servo screwdrivers or hammer drills are not to be used, and a protective blanket and goggles are required during operation. The kit accommodates ball-joint sizes with a 27mm mouth height minimum between 1/8 - 3/8" clear height (metric) of 48mm, a mouth height minimum of 2.5 - 9mm, a maximum torque of 120Nm, and a fork opening of 23mm for ball-joint sizes of 30mm, with a hexagon drive (male) of 17mm and a clear width (metric) of 45mm.
