Celltreat cell strainers are designed for a variety of applications, including the isolation of cells and the removal of clumps or debris. The strainers feature a polypropylene housing with a nylon mesh filter, eliminating the need for traditional filters made from gauze, paper, or other materials. The extended lip on the housing allows for aseptic handling with forceps, while the elongated gripping tab facilitates easy handling. These cell strainers are universally compatible with most brands of 50ml conical tubes. The unique bulk packaging option is also available. Additionally, the Celltreat exclusive pestle design enhances the manipulation of material within the strainer during use. The pestle has a length of 5.5 inches for convenient hand manipulation and a convex head with a molded textured surface to improve the handling of slippery materials in the cell strainer.
