The 500ml filters feature an expanded 90mm diameter membrane designed to increase flow and reduce clogs, facilitating faster filtration. Each filter includes easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the bottle top, along with bold printed membrane and pore size for straightforward identification. Additionally, filters have a printed lot number and expiration date on every bottle top. The improved filter support enhances flow rates, and the angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameter sizes while preventing the filter from tipping. The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane provides high flow rates and low binding, with a 0.22μm PES membrane being the preferred choice for sterile filtration of cell culture media, while the 0.45μm PES membrane is ideal for solution clarification. The nylon (PA) membrane offers excellent chemical compatibility and does not require pre-wetting. These bottle top filters are designed to fit on CellTreat® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, though solution bottles are not included.
